An independent collective group of parents, professionals and organisations with the ability to evaluate and collate data at a grass roots level, to provide a holistic model of educational support for schools and local authorities. Based on the success of the Great Minds model, the bespoke solution based approach delivers both practical and emotional support for children, young people and their families, whilst celebrating the individual localities, and ensuring consistent sharing of good practice.
An introduction to the resolution service
In January 2020 Great Minds Together submitted a manifesto to Parliament, requesting them to consider the introduction of an independent service to assess, evaluate and implement support for schools and services in order to promote better outcomes for children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs. As a result they were invited to write a Policy Paper, which was then submitted to Parliament in May 2020. The Policy Paper is below and details the case for change and the vision on how
SEND Resolution will work.
